Norilsk says raises financing of COVID-19 steps by 10 bln rbl

MOSCOW, Jul 17 (PRIME) -- Metals producer Norilsk Nickel has raised funding of anti-COVID-19 measures by 10 billion rubles to over 20 billion rubles, the company said in a statement on Friday.

"The company has elaborated a new package of measures for protection against COVID-19 amounting to about 10 billion rubles until the end of the year,” the company said.

“It includes protection against the virus on the premises, support of employees, help to the healthcare organizations and small and medium businesses."

The company also said that the pandemic did not significantly influence its operations.
